Hello! My name is Laura Quillen, and I am the creator of Sugar Willow Beauty. I live in Kingsport TN and share my life with my God-gifted soulmate and am the mom of an amazing son who is a Stage 3 brain cancer survivor! I‘m a corporate 9-5’er, and boutique owner, and am now following my dream of owning my own skincare, cosmetics, and wellness company. I’m living proof that you are NEVER too old to follow your dreams!

Sugar Willow Beauty is a brand that has blossomed from one of my fondest childhood memories. I remember as a kid going to my granddad Wilson’s house to visit. He had a weeping willow tree in the yard and would tie little candies to the branches. Dum Dum Suckers, Smarties, all sorts of small sweetness! As a kid everything seemed so much larger than life and I remember believing with all my heart that my granddad had a magical candy tree! I’ve carried that memory with me for over 50 years and want to honor it in some way. Family is absolutely everything!

My mom instilled in my sisters and me the importance of strength, compassion, empowerment, & giving. In fact, when my baby sister wrote my mom’s eulogy, she described her perfectly with four words, representing each of her four daughters: Faith, Hope, Love, &Charity. You’ll find pieces of my family sprinkled throughout my beauty brand with products and collections named after all the strong women in my family.
